OUR ORIGIN STORY
Every forging begins with raw steel, the right heat and a decisive hammer strike. Punjab Hammers Pvt. Ltd. began in the same way in 1992 in Mandi Gobindgarh, Punjab, a major centre of secondary steel production in India. Our founder, Mr. Vikas Garg, started with a single steam hammer, a few lathes and a small team who believed that precision and honesty would be our real tools.
In those early days, we forged simple parts for local industries. Orders were small but every delivery was made to exact specification. Steel is unforgiving, once you miss the right temperature or the right strike the part is lost. That discipline shaped our DNA. By the end of our first decade, Punjab Hammers had built a reputation for delivering forgings that did not just pass inspection, they inspired trust.
That trust opened doors. We began supplying to more demanding sectors, secured NTPC and Indian Railways approvals and stepped into the defence supply chain. What started as a modest workshop was now becoming a name known across India’s industrial heartlands.
